Could someone explain the rationale for naming the different stages of correction in H. Hs=sextant measurement makes sense. H=apparent H, does not, nor does Observed. To me, Observed is what we observe (duh) which this newcomer would call Hs. And H, I would call Basic correction and finally HO, I would call 'actual' or true, as in true North, etc. So, I would re-name them Hs,Hb,Ht, or similar.
