Welcome aboard Hans. I believe that your visits here will be informative and pleasant.
For myself, I'm a "boatless navigator", living inland, some distance from thje Atlantic Ocean. I also tend to get sea sick in sail boats anyhow, so my navigational efforts are limited to shooting celestial bodies when I get down to the beach in North Carolina, or playing around with an artificial horizon in the parking area of our apartment complex. Beats billiards, which I never was any good at.
