Art Horn sent me some photos of this sextant which I am adding below...
When I saw the first photo, since the instrument was all "shiny and golden", I thought... "I hope it's not a reproduction". But on further inspection, I suspect that this is a sextant that has been cleaned to remove the natural patina.
