Slowly getting there. After extensive testing and even heating the reservoir in boling water I am convinced there is nothing or very little in there. Shaking it ferociously I heard a small sploshing sound but only when the drop of liquid was not in the chamber.
So I went on opening it. With a small knife i cut away layer after layer of the solder until the nipped top became apparent. Then a short pinch with a tool it opened as in the picture of today. I used a thin sewing needle as a dip-stick and it smelled like toluene afterwards but was not wet. Next time I will add xylene!
