Not MY bootlaces, private snuffy's boot laces. Also his "blousing rubbers," (elastic bands used inside the pants' cuffs to "blouse" the cuffs.and keep bugs out.) There are hooks at each end so hook two of them together and they make it around the gun barrel. then insert the boot laces underneath them and pull straight. Voila! crosshairs.
