Hi Robin,
I did find a scan of Crone’s 1927 paper after all – in the same digital archive where you found Otto van Poelje’s paper!

It is not an OCR version but it should not be to difficult to OCR the pdf file and manually check and correct the file where the process went wrong.
Note, however, that Crone’s paper was written nearly a century ago and he did not have access to all relevant publications. He only had access to the 4th (1647) and later editions of Aspley’s publication but he correctly surmised that the first edition must have predated Dierick Ruyter’s Dutch version of 1631.
