This is the photo from Capt.Scott's South Pole expedition. I was looking for a photo of Amundsen's navigator taking a sight with a mirror AH (while his mate is checking the bubble levels, so - two persons on the photo), but found only this one.
What was the greatest scope magnification available on a (hand-held) sextant?
