That was a great discussion - thank you - the aberration of light explanations and references have certainly changed my understanding of star motions as viewed from earth - detecting and measuring the speed of light is a whole new way of looking at the stars tables and understanding how moving through space affects stellar observations - the posted graphs are very similar to the graphs I have - I now wonder what other interesting things are hidden in the nautical almanac
