Thanks for the clarification. So it seems the Polhemus manual is trying to show two ways of applying the Coriolis Correction - to Ha for new Hc OR to moving the final FIX. What it leaves out in the explanation is that it's either/or but not both.
I have to say this device is extremely innovative. At first glance, it's quite intimidating but once you see how it's laid out, it's quite simple to use. And yes, keeping track of the signs of correction values is a challenge.
Perhaps one other question Polhemus question. When using a single AP, it is based on the star's GHA/LHA nearest the fixed FIX time. Is this right?
