    Herman,

GHA = GHA Aries + SHA
LHA = GHA + Long (easterly longitude positive)

    From these equations you get
LHA = GHA Aries + Long + SHA = LHA Aries + SHA, from which
SHA = LHA - LHA Aries

LHA = ± arccos( sin Ho / (cos Lat · cos Dec) - tan Lat · tan Dec ) = ± 20°. As the body haven't passed the meridian yet, the minus sign is applicable and thus you get LHA = 340°.
Now subtract your LHA Aries of 256° and you get SHA = 84°.

    Lars
