Did anyone try the spherical sine rule followed to find the LHA
    followed by Napier's analogies (see
    https://mathworld.wolfram.com/NapiersAnalogies.html) to find the Lat
    ? My answer (assuming spherical earth) 39 ° 4.2'N, 76 ° 59.7' W but
is numerically unstable and maybe I only got away with it using by
Mathematica, a symbolic algebra program that can work to a high
    precision.

I notice the use of iterative methods above, and that seems like a
good idea. Anyone got any references to read on iterative verses
Napier? I have a vague memory I read about this long ago.
