And the example was 0.2410/0.3271
With logs 9.3820(-10) - 9.5146(-10). As the first term is smaller than the second, add (and subtract) 10 to the first term:
19.3829(-20) - 9.5146(-10) = 9.8674(-10)
No problem at all! (I get log 0.3271 = 9.5147(-10) but I've used Tony's numbers in the calculation)
