Thank you for that Gary! It perfectly highlights the falsity of trying to do statistics with one result, or trying to associate the result that cocked hats will in general cover the actual position with a probability of 0.25, with any particular cocked hat. There are not enough data to make any such conclusions from one cocked hat. You need an ensemble of cocked hats to make any statistical statements.
