Great research on Worsley's Log Books, and wonderful timing on the publication of both papers.
I have passed them onto Mensun Bound, the Marine Archeologist, who is going on the Weddell Sea Expedition 2019.

One of the aims is to locate and photograph the ENDURANCE using Autonomous Underwater Vehicles.
He is taking a Heath Vernier Sextant, similar to the one used by Worsley on the James Caird, and hopes to get some sights for the film documentary.
I didn't have time to teach him to reduce the sights "properly" so he will be using a smart programme!
