If Occam's razor is applied to this It seems most likely that you made some mistake in reading the sextant. Most skiing injuries happen on the last run of the day. Even with your exceptional levels of knowledge and skill you can make mistakes. I seem to remember an article on sextant accuracy that listed mistakes right behind poor horizons as a source of error. It may be that simp.le. You goofed. I do it often. Kind regards, Randy
