Sorry, I have to correct my previous message. It is no longer the case that they are "cheaper than ordinary sextants". I just checked e-bay: there are several ones for sale but they are all over $1000, for example, this one with the link in the bottom. There are also "reproductions" for under $200, but they are probably not real instruments, just decorations.
