    Re: Radio time signals disappear
    From: Richard B. Langley

In Canada, CBC Radio One and Ici Radio-Canada Première continue to broadcast the NRC time signals at 1 p.m. Eastern time on the English network and noon on the French network. We don't have DAB although we do have limited HD over-the-air radio but CBC is not using HD at the moment. Neverthless, NRC does warn:

"The [CBC] radio time signals described ... may be routed via one or two communications satellite hops, being delayed by 0.25 seconds per hop. Additional delays may be introduced by the CBC internal signal distribution and broadcast system. Using the internet or digital radio to receive the CBC time signal could also introduce additional large and unpredictable signal delays."
