Starting at the end of January and running through April, I will be teaching my unique workshops in celestial navigation. Most of these classes are offered this year both at the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport Museum and also Online via ReedNavigation.com.
First up is my always popular Modern Celestial: Sextants & Sun Sights. [Note: during a transitional period, I have also called this "Modern Celestial ONE"]. This is followed by Modern Celestial: Position Fixes & Star Sights. The latter is only available online this year. Both Modern Celestial workshops repeat in April.
For historians and fans of the fundamentals of celestial navigation, Celestial Navigation in the Age of Sail follows in February, and then, when the phase of the Moon is right so the Moon is "in distance" with the Sun, I have scheduled my Lunars workshop. These history-focused workshops are offered both in-person at Mystic Seaport Museum and also Online at ReedNavigation.com.

Reminder: if you have attended any workshop that I teach in the past five years, you may repeat that workshop, when offered online, for a modest $25 "seat fee". Register to repeat here.
