And do you know, since my latest MS ‘Office’ update someone called Al has appeared inside my PC who reads what I type and suggests in a side panel where I might find solutions. He also disabled my page zoom until I worked out how to enable it again. What is the world coming to?
The problem was that you allowed your PC to be updated!!!!!! If software is working how I want it I do not update it when I am nagged to do so. Upgrades are often downgrades. I know the argument that you must keep your software up to date to prevent the baddies getting into your system but I remain to be convinced. I have been on the internet since 1996 and have only had one problem and that was pre-internet. My PC became infected with the "stoned" virus (remember that). The solution was easy - throw away the 5 inch floppy.
This message is probably off-topic but what set me going was when you used the phrase "MS Office" rather than "Libre Office."
