Hanno,
The three short log tables give Hc in under 3 minutes when starting with LHA, Dec, & Lat. An extra minute is needed for a Doniol Hc because of the single longhand multiplication. I have shelved the Nautical Almanac sight reduction tables along with Ageton tables. I found it very difficult to be mistake free two reductions in a row so have given up on both methods. Reduction times for Hc are about the same but result confidence is left wanting.
