    Rocket launch and navigation stars

This is an interesting one. How many navigation stars can you identify in the photo? And can you estimate (or "cheat" slightly and determine) the latitude of the photographer? What direction are we facing? For this last bit, note that photos like this are usually two-part composites. One exposure picks up the actual launch, and a second longer exposure gets the stars. The stars have trails, and naturally those trails, even as short as they are in this case, allow us to determine the compass direction with some accuracy.

Finally, what is the date and time of the photo (again, a bit of a "cheat" will probably be needed here)?
