All I can tell you is no merchant man I ever met would grab anything else. And also no merchant man would ever get in the big orange lifeboat. Swim before we get in them! EPIRB will put them withing five miles and the homer puts them on you ... Saved more people than anything else... Not convinced the plbs are the same... I'd stil take an EPIRB if I was mountain biking.
