Been going back to Dutton 15th for some much needed refresher work. Cutler speaks of the Navy's STELLA navigational software as if it were available to everyone. My weird question is how does anyone here feel about STELLA in relation to Starpilot or any other nav software? Seems that if Cutler / Dutton is so hell bent on STELLA they'd have assured we in the civilian world could benefit. So here I am asking if there are opinions on which program is better or easier and user friendly to use.
Gales today on the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, bay up to 4' and ocean up to 6 to 10. Not a good sailing day here.
