It is very late in summer, but they have only given themselves a grand total of 5 days (120 hours) to find the Endurance. They will leave long before summer is over.
The Endurance was 144 feet by 25 feet, for an area of 3600 sq ft. If we assume the search area to be 4nm by 6 nm, that is 886,060,164 sq ft. The Endurance occupies 4.06 X 10^-6 of the search area or very roughly 1 part in a quarter million. If they find her in 5 days, it will indeed be fortuitous.
