I recently bought a C Plath yachting sextant on e-bay with the intention of anatomising it and sharing its structure on my web site (www.sextantbook.com). Unfortunately, I did not notice that the seller posts items only within Germany. Is there any member of the NavList community living in Germany who would be prepared to receive the sextant on my behalf and forward it to me, at my expense, of course, to New Zealand? If there is such a kind and conscientious person, would they please contact me off list or at engineer@clear.net.nz ?
