Hello!
Some sextant certificates does not contain printed values of the arc errors. This is replaced with frase: ”This instrument is free of errors for practical use”.
What is the numerical value of the maximal errors in this case? Is there one standard for all manufacturers? Or maybe each manufacturer defines his own standard?
I am a little bit confused because I have found different explanations to these errors: from 9" up to 24".
