I can never remember how to start on this, but how about this for today’s approach?

In the diagram below, the starlight is bent through Theta = 2v-2u = 2(v-u)

In triangle ABC, 90-v+90+u+phi=180 or Phi=v-u, so Theta=2Phi. DaveP
