It says on this page, that he used the German made "Nestler" Slide-Rule.
Looking at the Nestler range:
I think it may be something like the Model *Nestler 29/52 Log Log Duplex* (Made in Germany) that sort of fits your image Frank.
Although to me, your screen capture slide-rule has the *cursor* of the above Model 29/52, but placed on the body of the Model 29A - where you can see the RED writing at the bottom of the lower scale.
I didn't have much luck tracking down (the very cute looking) "Pocket Slide-Rule" though, in your other image.
