That would suggest that your observation was off by something like 6.4 minutes of arc. That would be a huge, noticeable error. It's 20% of the Sun's angular diameter so we probably can't dimiss it as plain old observational error. It's large enough that you should probably re-check the numbers that you entered. Can you post the details of your observation (time, location, raw lunar distance, IC if any, sextant type, scope)? And describe how it looked through the sextant?
