I could have sworn there was a recent message on NavList about using Microsoft Excel to calculate GC routes and how using degrees in Excel is tricky. But I can't find it now. Anyway, I was working some sights and wanted to use the N.A. formula as a check for my plot. But using the formula with a TI-30XIIs can get laborious, so I decided to see if I could make my own spreadsheet to do the calculations. (No offense to all of the other authors out there.) The result is attached. Feel free to alter it as you like. The sheets are protected, but there's no password. I haven't tested all possible types of combinations, but what I have tried seems to work just fine. Any feedback would be most welcome. The first sheet was my main goal. The other three were added in a fit of obsession. I may add more. ;)
...And it was tricky, IMHO.
