To Casey Michael,
Hi Casey, good to hear from you. Not sure if this was addressed to me or the whole list.(good idea to actually state who you want to talk to.)
Either way, by some miracle, I have found the lokata7 manual amongst my huge and mostly disoraganised nav library.
Please find attached. I used this sailing in the 1980s before GPS or even Decca with success , (usually fix within 2 miles!). A few years ago I tried it again using the LW nav signals from small airports, (the RDF transmissions stopped years ago). This worked well too.
Not sure if they are still transmitting, doutbt it but fun anyway.
I still use mine for the exellent hand bearing compass.
Best wishes
Francis
