I had tried more or less 4 or 5 years ago to do something with the camera of my Samsung. Impossible.
Nowadays the chips and the software has been improved in great manner.
Good experiment Greg. And thanks for waking my curiosity again.
To measure time for more than 25 years, I have used a cheap Casio watch like you.
i still use it. Although more and more often I use the smartphone watch. Synchronize by WiFi, or if you are a root admin, with a lot Apps using atomic clocks.
