In about two hours, at 0332 UT (or 11:32pm Eastern US time), the SHA of the Sun will be 270°00.0', and that marks the summer solstice, the traditional beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere. The Sun's declination at that time is 23°26.2'N, of course, is at its peak for the year. The Sun is hanging at the zenith over the Tropic of Cancer. It's all downhill from here as the Sun begins its spiral back down to the Tropic of Capricorn.
