An Interesting question about the night sky appearance.

From Latitude 47° North, was the Southern Cross visible in some remote past, partially ? entirely ? and if so by what date did it show highest in the Sky at culmination ?

Same question for next occurrence of such an event if it has earlier occured in the past.

    Kermit
