Well Roger, I agree wholeheartedly - except when the navigator has taken the time to become facile with the Starpath workform and the Starpath workform is used in conjunction with the NA tables.
As a general observation, there is an assumed view on NavList that the practice of celestial navigation starts and finishes here and the prevailing view on this list must be representative of celestial navigation on the rest of the planet. May I gently remind the reader that this lofty acclaim is not always the case...
