I’m out of touch with the US Naval Observatory’s progress on restoring/updating their Celestial Navigation Data for Assumed Position and Time (see: www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/astronomical-applications/data-services/cel-nav-data).
The page states services have moved here ... but when you click on the link, you get an error message “We can’t connect to the server at aa.usno.navy.mil.”
Anyone know where this project stands? Perhaps it’s up but at a different link than the one I’m using.
Perhaps USNO does not intend to restore this service. Seems to be out of commission for a very long time.
