Frank, thanks for your quick response. I am aware of those setting options. I will elaborate a bit.
What I can get from Cartes du Ciel is J2000 RA & DEC; RA & DEC of date ( proper motion is applied );
and Apparent RA & DEC of date ( abberation, nutation, precession, and parallax are applied ).
Apparent RA & DEC are what is needed for navigating or surveying, and the Nautical Almanac and ICE and MICA
and the USNO website ( and your Clone of that ), and the Star Almanac for Land Surveyors all give Apparent positions.
Seemingly, Stellarium does not give this, but in reality I think it should do. I have not found out how.
