Howdy all!
I'm one of Stellarium's developers and I joined the list for Stellarium-related discussion and to improve my knowledge for navigation (I never learned special navigational courses / exams). Not all discussions are "good" for me, but I found many interesting things in archives and many new things I found in the list.
For example, one long time idea for Stellarium is creating a plugin to simulate sextant and I had wanted to propose creating it to members of list, but I see that this plugin will be interesting to a very limited circle of people. So, anyone who has skill in C++/Qt and wants to do it - welcome! At least we (planetarium developers and users) improved the Navigational Stars plugin in the past couple of years. :)
