I often used the nav star feature in Stellarium. Thanks!
Afraid as old guy, I learned FORTRAN in the 60's. As a scientist and engineer, it's served me well.
Only nodding aquaintances with BASIC, C, and PYTHON. So not much help on the new plugin.
