Last Sunday I was driving in a foggy weather but nevertheless I've clearly seen the sun disc (see an example https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sun_in_fog_in_Lysekil.jpg ). I was wondering if it would be possible to take sun sights via artificial horizon at that moment, would I have a appreciable error in measured altitude (due to atmospheric refraction)?
kind regards,
Igor
