Hello to all,
We have been at length weighing the merits of different Concise SRT Navigation Tables.
I have practiced a few ones, the Davies Tables, and also the ones by R. Doniol recently advocated by Greg (Ahoy Mate ...).
I would simply throw into our inventory the remarkable "Tables de Dieumegard" which are part of the French "Table 900". If I had to use only one document for all navigation purposes, I would definitely embark Table 900 - which I actually do everytime - because in one simple and handy, and sturdy book you find:
- Distances vs. Speed tables
- DR Tables (Estime)
- Dip & refraction Tables
- SRT by Dieumegard
- Azimuths Tables by Bataille
- Additional Tables (LAN Tables and Time/Angles tables)
Best Regards to all,
Kermit
