    As a practicing Naval Architect of the old school, one tended to acquire "references".  Here's some of mine on the subject;

    I've read it cover to cover recently.  And, I admit thinking not many would.  I feel it accomplished what it set out to do.  I would be a little kinder, and refer to it as "detailed".   I enjoyed it and am glad to have it.
