Hughes made some 3.5" arc "Flying-boat" sextants during WWII. A number were evidently left over at the end of the war and they were re-branded for use on yachts and small boats. They are well made, with good filters etc. The scope is a x2 Gallilean. The body is brass and the scale is 'silver'. A photo of mine is below.
They come up occasionally on ebay, but after 80 years they are not all in good condition and it is worth waiting for a nice example to come along. The arc is only 90 degrees, and only readable to one minute-of-arc, but for small boat work that will be more than ample.
