This model was very late in the Heath sextant lifecycle and available for a relatively short period of time - late 1960s/early 1970s I think until the company ceased making sextants.
Somewhere I have some contemporary promotional material which includes this model and the three-ring model (which I own) and which by then they were calling the 'Mates" sextant. I looked for it this morning but no luck yet I'm afraid.
I have always liked this model and would add one to my collection if the price and condition make sense.
