I used a kitchen , plastic of some sort, cutting board in which I cut three threads to take some long screws. Brazed a washer on top of each to effectively make a long wing nut.
I tried a stainless steel shaving mirror, little error in that. My digital clino proved to be very accurate. Bought that on Ebay.
Summer here at 33.52 S and 121.53 E. I am currently taking a noon lat sight using a Tbar cut to exactly my eye height ocated some 30 paces distant and on level ground. Achieving some very accurate results.
