I'd like to know how did it work back then?
Did they drop it at LAN? I guess they did, - there were no time-zones before ~1850's.
Jeremy, will you do the LAN drop or will you obey the local time-zone settings? The LAN drop is more fun and educative, - it will remind your neighbours about the EoT, you will have a chance to explain why EoT is there, why we do think the Earth is a spinning globe, how we did get to know the Earth is orbiting the Sun, etc.
