In my previous post there was a typo: UT should be 0^h40^m20^s. There is an infinite number of solutions to this problem, or 10800 if you constrict timing to steps of 1^s. I just picked one of them, on shore. Dave certainly has another answer. Any place on a curve joining the following positions would give the azimuths observed:

0^h UT 41°10'9"N, 28°15'49"E
1^h       39°38'15"N, 13°31'26"E
2^h       38°11'12"N, 1°12'58"W
3^h       36°48'19"N, 15°57'24"W
