Does this mean if I buy a quartz watch on a flee market (which I always do) - it has already aged-in to a more horizontal/predictable curve?
As I understand it, aging is dependent on the thermal history of the crystal. If the wristwatch is kept in the same thermal environment for many months, it may get a little more predictable. But going from flea-market shelf to wrist is enough of a change that any aging trends may be "erased".
