I recently purchased a Casio "Waveceptor" watch and it's wonderful. It is solar powered, so never a battery to run down or replace (exposure of as little as 30 minutes/day keeps it charged) and, most important, it synchronizes itself to worldwide time signals! Absolutely agrees with the time display on my iPhone (which I use when practicing sights, there's a free app that gives you an hh:mm:ss time display that fills the entire screen).

Hello:
After much abuse and many years, several functions are not easily worked. This was a $40 USD purchase maybe 10 years ago. Good enough. It has a very reliable drift every month. Should I buy another one?
I've thought about moving up to Casio G Shock, but a bit more money. Please let me know about the "G Shocks" or others $ 100 USD or less.
Thank you
