Has anyone perchance viewed PBS’s documentary “Abandoning the Titanic?” from their “Secretes of the Dead” series? It explored with how she got into trouble initially and the failure of rescue ships to respond or locate her in time, as well as the “mystery ship” in sight that did not approach. A major thread was traditional navigation including her erroneous position broadcast and the location of potential rescuers in relation to her and the iceberg field. Eventually it ended with blame storming.
Has anyone has viewed the documentary? If yes, what are your opinions on the validity and reliability of the content?
I viewed it on antenna TV, but it is supposedly available via Amazon Prime Video.
